History
The founder of T.S.S. Co., Ltd, Daisuke Sadohara was formerly responsible for importing and selling in a textile trading company which used to import denim fabric from the U.S. in the 60’s. As jeans getting popular and demand for denim increased in Japan, Daisuke committed to establish denim manufacturing in Japan in the 70’s by working with local artisans in Kojima and Ibara area where they originally have natural indigo (Ai) dying and uniform manufacturing in their tradition. Manufacturing denim in Japan didn’t work well at the beginning, but they finally start making finest denim by a lot of efforts and perfection that is one of Japanese characteristics. They even started exporting denim to the U.S in the late 70’s.
T.S.S. Co., Ltd was founded by Daisuke with 2 other denim specialists in 1984 to work with their clients closer and meet their specific demands. T.S.S has been growing with their clients, supplying textiles to leading jeans brands and started supplying completed products in the 90’s using local factories. We use our knowledge and experiences in denim business to provide highest quality products to our clients.
